FAITH FORMATION

Our Sunday School program called J.A.M.

(Jesus and Me), gathers on Sundays from 9:15 - 10:15am in the Alpha/Omega room. It is filled with laughter, learning, and fellowship.  It is open for grades pre-k through 6th grade and runs through April.

Grades 7&8 are invited to join us on Monday Nights at the Youth House from 6-7pm for an hour of amazing games, awesome music, and faith filled lessons.

High School Youth meets on Sunday nights starting with the 5:30pm Mass, followed by our gatherings in the youth house until 8:00pm.  There is food, fun, and faith to be had, and all are welcome.

Why Catholic?

 

 

Brief Ministry Description or Duties: Participants in the small Christian communities will explore how we nurture our relationship with God in prayer & how God communicates with us.

 

Frequency of Service: For fall 2011 once a week meeting during 6 weeks to discuss our Creed followed by Lent for 6 weeks.

 R.C.I.A. Sponsoring Adult Converts

 

 

Brief Ministry Description or Duties: A sponsor is an adult who is actively living his/her Catholic faith & is called to be a link to the community of believers, a companion & mentor along the way and is a person of prayer

 

Frequency of Service: Varies. During the instructional period of RCIA (usually Sept.-June) weekly meetings after 9:00 Mass dismissed with candidates in recommended.

Brief Ministry Description or Duties:  Teaching the doctrines of the Catholic Church to those interested in returning to or entering into full communion with the church. Those who “Break open the Word” lead a discussion on the Sunday readings
